STEMIS TCRW1 — Solar Power Plants

The losses due to dirt are silent — but constant. Dust, dirt, and organic residue accumulate on photovoltaic modules every day, silently reducing generation without triggering any alarms. Manual cleaning teams are slow, expensive, and often unavailable at scale. The TCRW1 was designed to change this equation permanently.

Challenge: Manual module cleaning is slow, expensive, and risks damage — directly limiting generation recovery.

Solution: The TCRW1 autonomous robot has been deployed in various facilities — performing dry or wet cleaning, up to 2,500 modules/day, with remote monitoring via app.

Result: Proven generation gain after cleaning, with zero mechanical or electrical damage to the modules. Independently validated by Unicamp.

Peak tariffs, demand charges, and the complexity of correctly sizing a hybrid system cause most companies to hesitate—or worse, invest in the wrong configuration. STEMIS Design was created precisely to solve this.

Challenge: One of the largest furniture manufacturers in Brazil was facing high electricity costs with peak tariffs heavily impacting its monthly budget.

Solution: STEMIS Design generated the optimal hybrid microgrid configuration with a complete financial analysis—including purchase and lease options.

Result: The project demonstrated a highly attractive return on investment, with the client formally endorsing the solution through a letter of recommendation.

Challenge: Hybrid microgrids supporting 4 irrigation pivots with high diesel dependency and increasing operating costs.
